Assessment and Examination

Assignments must be submitted to the University via Learning Management System (LMS) online access.
Please refer and adhere to the University’s  Assessment and Examination policies.
You will be informed of your results in writing.

Graduation

A degree conferral ceremony is held each year in Singapore. We will post or email you information and an application to graduate when you have met your course requirements.
You may also request to graduate in Melbourne, Australia.

TESTAMURS (CERTIFICATES): The degree certificate will be handed to you at your graduation ceremony, or afterwards if you do not attend. The certificate has the University emblem and seal and is signed by the Chancellor and Vice-Chancellor.

Certificate in Healthcare Studies (Nursing Aides)

Programme Description:

This program aims to equip learners to be able to manage and care for client(s) who require

· care interventions based on common chronic conditions, such as measurement of vital signs, showering, grooming, feeding, toileting, repositioning, transferring techniques using mobility aids, respiratory needs such as tracheostomy care, and ventilatory support

· chronic disease management

· basic prenatal, postnatal and infant care

· respite care and emotional support

· symptom management and palliative/ end of life care

 

Modules:

1. Communication and Service Standards

2. Skin and Wound Care

3. Basic Monitoring and Care Interventions

4. Conditions and Needs in the Older Person Population

5. Chronic Diseases and End of Life Care

 

Programme Duration:

1 month (160 hours) – Full Time

 

Course Fees:

Total course fee payable is S$7,453.42 (inclusive of GST)

 

Entry Requirements:

· Age: 21 years old and above

· Language: IELTS 5.0 or equivalent preferred

· Academic: Diploma in Nursing. For prospective students with overseas diploma qualifications, the diploma programme should preferably have been conducted in English

· Minimum two (2) years post registration clinical nursing experience and be currently employed in a healthcare institution (preferred)
